Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey on Sunday distributed the sanction letter of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) to 192 beneficiaries at an event held at Ward 12 of Saja Nagar Panchayat.
Addressing the gathering, Choubey said the Chhattisgarh government was working for all sections of the society. The intention of the government is to bring a change in the standard of living by providing people the benefits of government schemes and programmes.
He said that all eligible families would get the benefit of the housing scheme. People whose houses have been approved can now build it as they wish.
The Minister said many educational institutions will be opened soon n Saja to facilitate higher and technical education.
The Chairman, Saja Nagar Panchayat Shalini, Manoj Jaiswal, said 582 houses have been approved so far under the housing scheme.
