Agriculture Minister Chandrashekhar Sahu on Wednesday assured to mull over a proposal to set up ‘fodder banks’ for cattle in the State. The proposal was put forward by a delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Brahmman Sena which met the Minister here. During the meeting, the President of Akhil Bharatiya Brahmman Sena, Amit Sharma informed Sahu that there is a problem in arranging foddar for the cattle on fair prices.
The delegation suggested that ‘fodder banks’ be established at district and tehsil levels. The members stated that the arrangement for fodder at fair prices should be made when they are established.The members, on the occasion, also submitted a memorandum to the Minister.
