Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy pre-monsoon rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm at a few places in Raipur, Durg, Bastar and Bilaspur districts over the next 48 hours. The meteorological department has predicted partly cloudy sky with light rain/thundershower in Raipur while the maximum temperature would be around 40 degree Celsius. The state-wide prediction of the department for next couple of days is that on Monday heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over north Chhattisgarh and thunderstorm accompanied with gusty wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely at isolated places over Chhattisgarh.
