The 14th State-level meeting of Banking Security Committee was held here on Friday. Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, NK Aswal presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, discussions were held on safety of bank premises, and utilization of security equipment in contingency, counterfeit currency, security equipment, fraud with consumers through email/telephone and use of modern technology in banking security besides generating awareness about bank security.
Additional Inspector General (CID), Neha Champawat , Special Bureau (AIG) Sanjay Sharma, GM RBI, Nagpur Zone, SBI Bhopal and bank officials from other States were present in the meeting.
