Collector Reena Babasaheb Kangale on Monday chaired a meeting to discuss ‘Korba Development Scheme 2031’ in the District Collectorate here.
The officials informed in the meeting that the investment area in Korba is 323.70 square km out of which Municipal Corporation area is 228.3 square km.
They stated that considering the rising population and geographical condition of Korba, a target was set for development of the region by 2031. The meeting also discussed areas such as promotion of food processing units in the region, setting up of ITI besides development of Cold Storage, Warehouse, Main Market Centre, City Centre and Retail Market, Restaurant, Cinema, Traffic, Parking lots, Traffic park besides a large number of other infrastructural facilities.
During the discussion, the members also provided their suggestions over a wide set of issues.
