Special training sessions have been organized here to train doctors and other medical staff of the Chhattisgarh Health Department to handle the grim pandemic situation.
The training was held to strengthen the district hospitals and dedicated Covid hospitals in the state, an official communication said on Thursday.
A total of 598 were trained for working in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and fields like Oxygen Constructor Machine, ventilator management and oxygen therapy. The trainees included 270 health officers and 328 staff nurses.
A total of 13 sessions were held under the guidance of the critical care specialist of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Dr O.P. Sundarani.
