nChhattisgarh Medical Teacher’s Association, Raipur has condemned the incident of Ambikapur Collector’s misbehaviour with Dean of Medical College, Ambikapur in an executive meeting convened on Saturday to discuss the issue.
The meeting decided to hand over a representation of the incident to Chhattisgarh Governor, Chief Minister and Health Minister seeking action against the collector.
The association pointed out that the medical teachers’ have to carry out double work, along with academic works in Medical College, they have to undertake the responsibility of hospital also.
The association in a statement said even after being kept in higher grade and pay scale, the lower cadre officers irresponsibly put pressure on medical related works and even misbehaves. The teachers will not tolerate it, the body said in a statement.
The meeting decided to hold a protest by wearing black-band on November 11 and hand over a representation to health minister.
