The district administration in a bid to ensure protecting the people from falling victims to seasonal diseases especially waterborne diseases, officials took stock of the health facilities available in the district on Thursday.
District collector Ashok Agrawal directed additional collector D Singh, joint collector leena Maravi and deputy collector Anil Siddhar to carry out check up in every health camp.
The administration has organised several health check up camps to identify those infected with the seasonal diseases and the remedial measures administration, ie, the health department has done.
The collector has also instructed the officials to immediately provide medical care to those infected with diseases such as jaundice, diarrhea, among other water born diseases. Besides this, special efforts are also being made to test the quality of water supplied to the people and also improving hygiene in the district.
