Mohammed Akbar is appointed Chairman of half-a-dozen corporations, boards and authorities-- the key bodies being Atal Nagar Development Authority, Raipur Development Authority and Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board.
He will also be Chairman of Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation and Chhattisgarh Warehousing Corporation, Chhattisgarh Forest Development Corporation and Chhattisgarh State Medicinal Plant and Biodiversity Board.
The appointment of Chairman of various Boards and Corporations is being expected after Lok Sabha polls and till that time, In-charge ministers had been distributed responsibilities for Boards and Corporations.
