The Mayor in Council (MiC) has passed a total of 18 proposals after intense discussions held on the 16 proposals in a meeting held on Thursday received from different departments of the Durg Municipal Corporation and four proposals presented with the permission of the Chair.
The Council, on the instructions of the Mayor, constituted different committees comprising five people each for checking applications for roads, naming of wards, Mid-day meal and destitute pension.
The sanction of offers of those who have quoted maximum rate for shop No.71/10 and 71/7 at the New Bus Stand and Shop number 41, 46, 49 situated at Mini Stadium Shikshak Nagar Durg for the reserved beneficiaries, have been approved. Besides, under the ‘Mukhya Mantri Swavalamban Yojana’, (Chief Minister Self Reliance Scheme) proposals for reducing the security amount by curtailing the grant amount of 26 shops, construction of boundary wall of Aditya Nagar Cultural Hall and for submitting information to the Urban Administration and Development Raipur for holding joint examination by Chhattisgarh State Professional Examination Board for the filling of vacant posts of urban bodies have been passed in the meeting.
