Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati reached Raipur during the evening hours for two-day visit to Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
The BSP Supremo would hold a meeting with the leaders of alliance partner Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) (JCC) (J) to be attended by its Chief Ajit Jogi here on Sunday.
It is Mayawati’s second visit to Chhattisgarh.
Confirming Mayawati's arrival in Raipur, State BSP President O P Bajpayee said that the BSP Supremo would be holding two public meetings during her tour of the State. The first one is scheduled at Akaltara in Janjgir-Champa district where daughter-in-law of JCC (J) Chief Ajit Jogi, Richa Jogi is the candidate.
The second one will be held at Ambikapur -the Surguja district headquarters. The BSP candidate from Ambikapur is Sitaram Manikpuri.
