Mahaveer Academy of Technology and Science (MATS) University celebrated its sixth Annual day on Wednesday at its campus.
Besides cultural programmes, prizes were given away to students for their outstanding performance in academics during the ceremony. The evening was filled with cultural programmes where the students showcased their talent.
The institute had invited several daily soap and movie actors like laila Khan, Romishka Uppal, Mohammad Mazeem, Anirudhh Dave who wore dresses designed by students studying fashion design in the university.
“This opportunity helped the students in understanding about the coordination that is required while dealing with established models,” said Talvinder Kaur, HOD of Fashion Designing Department of the university. Swami Praptyanand from Raipur Vivekanand Ashram, Vice-Chancellor of the university GN Panda were present on the occasion.
