With the notion of ensuring proper security arrangements during the IPl T-20 matches, the Raipur police performed full rehearsal on Monday. Massive vehicle checking was undertaken by the police force at various spots in the Raipur city.
Raipur police accompanied with traffic police staff conducted the checking during the evening hours. Checking points were setup at all the major entry and exit spot of the city.
The Station House Officers were also deployed in the checking. It may be mentioned the IPl-T20 matches are scheduled on April 28 and May 1 at International Cricket Stadium Parsada. This is for the first time that any such mega cricket event is taking place in Chhattisgarh. The administration do not want to leave any stone unturned to make the event a mega success.
