A Maoist carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head on Tuesday surrendered to security forces in Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.
Kunjam Mukka turned himself in, citing disappointment with the Maoist ideology, Sukma Superintendent of Police Kiran Chavan said.
Mukka was a Militia Commander of the outlawed Naxalite outfit.
