A Naxalite carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head surrendered to security forces on Tuesday in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.
Madvi Pandu was the Dandakaranya Adivasi Kisan Majdoor Sangathan (DAKMS) President of the outlawed Maoist organization, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma said.
He joined the Maoist outfit in 2010 and was involved in several Maoist incidents in Phoolbagdi and Gadiras areas in the district.
