A notification was issued on Monday to constitute Mandir Hasoud and three other villages as a Nagar Panchayat in Chhattisgarh, to come under Raipur district.
As per the notification, the government intends to include the boundaries of Mandir Hasoud, Chhatauna, Nakta and Kurud village panchayats in the proposed Nagar Panchayat.
The boundary of the new Nagar Panchayat will form the boundaries of the existing four village panchayats.
Any person or local authority may submit written objections or suggestions to the Raipur Collector within 12 days for the government's consideration.
