In a gruesome incident a youth hacked to death his wife and parents over some dispute and later surrendered in Narayanpur police station on Monday, informed Station House Officer Narayanpur JR Sinha.
The SHO talking with The Pioneer over phone informed that the incident happened at Boriagaon village about 22 km from Narayanpur police station on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. “The accused Vinay Khes (26) axed down his father Elenemuyer Khes (65), stepmother Angela Khes (45) and wife Esulla Tirki (26),” said SHO and added that Vinay and Esulla were married about one and half months back.
The SHO further said, Vinay on Sunday returned home late night and over this reason there was dispute among the victims and accused. Objection raised over Vinay’s late home coming turned into vehement altercations and enraged Vinay picked up an axe kept in house and chopped his father, mother and newly married wife around 2 O’clock on Sunday night.
“After committing the nerve chilling crime he locked the body of all three in house and reached Narayanpur police stations on Monday morning which is about 22 kms from his village and told police about the crime. Police then arrived at crime scene about 8.30 am and recovered the bodies,” the SHO claimed. Meanwhile Vinay has been arrested and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. A case under Section 302 has been registered against Vinay, informed SHO Sinha. The villagers are stunned after the crime.
