A 45-year-old man was arrested for raping a three-year-old girl in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district, police said on Monday.
Bilaspur Superintendent of Police Prashant Agrawal said the accused on Friday took the girl to his house and raped her.
The girl’s grandmother spotted the crime and alerted the family.
On Saturday, a police complaint was lodged, leading to the man's arrest on Sunday. A court sent him to judicial custody, the officer said.
