A 53-year-old man sexually exploited an 11-year-old girl in Kota area under the limits of Saraswati Nagar police station. The accused has been arrested, informed station house officer Saraswati Nagar police station on Monday.
According to SHO Prithvi Dubey the accused was identified as Ardal Sona (53), resident of Satnamipara Kota under Saraswati Nagar police station.
Sona and the victim’s family were neighbours in past; this way the accused was acquainted with the victim. On March 26, the accused who is a driver by profession called the girl in his home. Sona’s wife is house assistance and was out of home. Finding the time, he sexually exploited the girl and also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone about the happening, SHO Dubey said.
However, the girl could not bear the physical-mental pain and narrated the ordeal in front of her mother, who then reported the matter to Saraswati Nagar police following which the accused was arrested immediately. The medico-legal report of victim girl has also established that she was subjected to sexual harassment, SHO claimed adding case under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act 2012 has been registered against the accused.
