The Special Court, POCSO Act Padma Jatav sentenced life imprisonment to rape accused and was fined Rs 1000; accused raped a minor in the year 2019.
The case was registered with Gandhi Nagar police under sections 376 of the IPC and section 3 and 4 of the POCSO Act.
The accused Azad Nat was punished with life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000, under Section 376 Bhadvi and 3 and 4 POCSO Act, for non-payment of fine, one month additional rigorous imprisonment to be paid.
In the said case, the government was represented by TP Gautam, Special Public Prosecutor and Sarla Kahar, Assistant Special Public Prosecutor.
The incident occurred January 3, 2019 around 9 in the night when the accused Azad came to the victim's house, at that time his younger brother and sister were sleeping the accused dragged her outside the house to the bathroom and did wrong things with him and threatened to kill.
Meanwhile in another punishment of 2 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 8000 under Section 363 awarded to Narvesh Vasuniya for keeping minor victim captive was sentenced by Special Court, POCSO Act Padma Jatav.
The accused Narvesh Vasuniya, of Shukla Crusher slum, Ayodhya Nagar, Bhopal, was punished with 2 years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 8000 under Section 363 IPC.
The government was represented by TP Gautam, Special Public Prosecutor and Sarla Kahar, Assistant Special Public Prosecutor.
Mother of the victim lodged a missing report of her minor daughter by attending the police station, Ayodhya Nagar and based on report accused Narvesh Vasuniya was found guilty who lured her and held captive.
