A court on Tuesday sentenced a 24-year-old man to double life term for killing his lover and her minor daughter in a village on the outskirts of Raipur city in 2021.
Special Public Prosecutor Nilesh Thakur told The Pioneer that Special Judge (Atrocities) Hirendra Singh Tekam found Sukhiram Yadav alias Vicky of Jora village in Raipur district guilty.
On January 23, 2021, Yadav slit the throat of lover Reema Yadav with a sharp knife and killed their one-year-old girl when she th reatened him to again send him and his family into jail in a rape case.
