A court has sentenced a 30-year-old man to life term jail for killing his wife in a village in Raipur in 2019, a government lawyer said on Friday.
Additional Public Prosecutor R.S. Bhamra told The Pioneer that Second Additional Sessions Judge Shobhana Koshta on Thursday found the man guilty.
Mohammad Sheikh Yusuf from Kota had on September 29, 2019 killed his wife Shabana after a row.
Yusuf wanted Shabana to roll back a rape case lodged against his younger brother in Durg district.
