Woman and Child Development Minister Ramsheela Sahu on Wednesday informed the Chhattisgarh Assembly that the malnutrition levels in Chhattisgarh stood at 32.29 per cent during 2014-15.
In a written reply to Congress member Rajendra Kumar Rai, the Minister informed that as per ‘Weighing Festival’ data, the malnutrition levels in the State was 37.24 per cent in 2013-14.
In another written reply to BJP member Ashok Sahu, the Minister informed that as per weighing festival data, there were 23,068 malnurished children in Kabirdham district during 2015-16.
In another written reply to Congress member Bhaiyaram Sinha, the Minister informed that as per weighing festival data, there were 23,713 malnurished children in Balod district in 2013 and 20769 in 2014-15.
