During the ‘Malaria Control Fortnight’ being observed from September 15 to 30 under the aegis of Community Health Centre, students of 10th, 11th and 12th classes of Higher Secondary School were informed about Malaria prevention measures.
The officials told the students that to prevent this vector-borne disease, stagnant water should be pumped out.
In rooms also, anti-mosquito chemical should be sprayed and mosquito net should be used while sleeping. In case of having fever, nearest Mitanin or health worker should be contacted and the blood samples should be tested through them using RD kit.
