The Chhattisgarh unit of the Congress party has pulled up socks for cornering the ruling BJP Government during the forthcoming Monsoon Session of Chhattisgarh legislative Assembly.
Congress legislative Party (ClP) leader TS Singhdeo will be raising the demand for tabling of Judicial Commission’s report on Meena Khalkho encounter in the Monsoon Session of the Chhattisgarh Assembly scheduled from July 20 to 31.
Singhdeo in a letter written to Chief Minister Raman Singh said that the Judicial Commission has submitted its report over Meena Khalkho encounter. However, the State Government has not made this report public, which is leading to speculations in public and social media, he said.
“In the past, I had also demanded to make public the judicial commission’s report, through letters. Apart from this, various social organisations have also demanded to place the report on public domain, he said.
I believe that on the first day of the monsoon session this report should be tabled in the House so that public representatives and people of the State may know about the findings, he said.
