Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Rajesh Munat reviewed the status of ongoing road construction works within the city on Tuesday. He urged officials to complete the work within the prescribed time frame.
Directives were issued to complete the construction of Canal Road by the end of this month. Following the prescribed parameters of the administration, he asked the officials to adopt online mode for conveying the report of the construction works to the Department.
The Minister further suggested to maintain a monthly calendar for such ongoing works in order to keep a check and hold review meetings accordingly.
Munat pointed out on maintaining transparency in the execution of projects.
Officials were advised to take the help of concerned Collector in case of problems.
He told the officers to speed up the process of road construction and widening work.
Regarding widening work, Munat also instructed officials to focus on the tree shifting. Besides, city roads, he inquired about the under-construction roads connected to the city.
