A Public Grievance Redressal Camp was organised as part of the ongoing ‘lok Suraj Abhiyan’ at Akalwara village of Chura Block recently.
Around 178 applications were received at the camp of which 142 cases were disposed on the spot.
Rajim MlA Santosh Upadhayay was the Chief Guest at the camp.
Meanwhile, District Collector Niranjan Das informed that it is for the first time when ` 43 crore has been deposited in the bank account of the farmers as compensation amount for crop damage due to drought.
