After the fire incident, Dongargarh-Raipur and Raipur-Dongargarh local trains were cancelled on Tuesday, putting hundreds of passengers in trouble. The local train that was gutted in the fire, had to leave Dongargarh to Raipur at 5.40 in the morning and at 8.30 am, it had to leave Raipur to Dongargarh.
On the information, DRMSl Verma and ADR SK Gupta from Nagpur reached the site of incident and reviewed the situation
Senior commercial manager Pradip Kumar said that DRM Verma had issued orders for probe into the incident. According to him, the railway suffered loss of crores of rupees in the incident. On getting the information, in-charge of GRP and RPF from Bhilai-Durg reached the site in the morning. In-charge of Bhilai-3 GRP Rajkumar Borjha said that the incident would be investigated by the joint team of GRP and RPF.
