Liquor shops of Rajim area will remain closed from February 16 to March 1 on the occasion of ‘Rajim Maghi Punni Mela’, Chhattisgarh Chief Miniser Bhupesh Baghel said on Tuesday.
The Mela commences on February 16.
The Commercial Tax (Excise) Department issued the order closing down country and foreign liquor shops around the Rajim Mela area, in Rajim (Rural) in Gariaband district, in Gobra Nawapara (Raipur district) and in Magarlod (Dhamtari).
A total of six country and foreign liquor shops will be closed.
