leopard sneaks out of cage at Nandanvan, caught

Aleopard sneaked out of his cage at the Nandanvan Park after finding the gate not properly closed on Tuesday morning before being caught by the Forest Department employees within the Park premises two hours later.

According to a Park official, the leopard escaped from his cage due to alleged negligence of a worker who did not lock the gate properly after cleaning the cage. The leopard himself opened the gate and escaped.

After not finding the animal inside the cage, the Park officials immediately informed the Forest Department officials who caught it after nearly two hours within the Park premises.
