The polling parties were educated about the election procedure and use of electronic voting machine in the first phase of training for the urban body elections held here at Government high school.

To ensure that polling parties do not face any problem in use of the multi-post EVM this training programme has been organised. The master trainers will educate the polling parties about under vote, no vote, unfinished vote etc in the training programme.

He appealed the polling parties including the presiding officer to concentrate on training to understand the technical aspects and operation of the EVM. In case of any confusion or doubts, the polling personnel should feel free to approach the master trainer.

He said that the polling parties should remain alert during voting and conduct the voting cautiously and transparently.  The Collector however warned of strict action if any error is detected in voting.

He once again said that technical details of the operation of EVMs are essential as in case of unfinished vote the voting process will be disrupted. Devsenapati asked the polling parties to remain alert during mock poll and voting.

He congratulated the polling parties for successful lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections and said that he expects similar alertness from them in the civic polls also. The officials said that the second phase of training will be organised on December 23. The Master Trainer explained in detail about under vote, no vote, unfinished vote etc to the polling parties.
