Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary R.P. Mandal said on Monday that the land acquisition process will be completed by November-end for the Nagarnar Steel Plant project.
Mandal was replying to Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba who sought details of progress of the multipurpose road and rail as well as iron and steel projects in Chhattisgarh.
The Union government official also sought details of the Steel Plant project which is being established in Nagarnar village of Bastar district.
Mandal said for Nagarnar Steel Plant construction, land acquisition of 61 villages is to be undertaken. The land acquisition and all other processes of 57 villages have been completed. In remaining four villages land acquisition process will end by November.
Additional Chief Secretary (Forest-Industries) Manoj Pingua and Secretary (Revenue) Rita Shandilya were also present.
