Konta MlA and one of those injured in the Maoist attack on May 25 at Jeeram Ghati, Kawasi lakhma on Monday said that the attack was a result of security not provided by the State Government.
‘Instead of accepting its responsibility for the attack, the Government is making me a victim of it's misinformation campaign’, he told reporters.
Kawasi said that he is the only Congress MlA from Bastar’s 12 Assembly seats. ‘The BJP is unable to tolerate this and that is why it has launched a misinformation campaign against me in face of the Assembly elections’.
‘I am saddened by the loss of leaders and associates in the attack. I was in panic and in those moments Dr Charandas Mahant and my associates reposed my confidence,’ he said.
