Raipur Rangers — a team introduced in the Champions Tennis league (CTl), on Tuesday released team logo and jersey in the city.
Releasing the team logo and jersey of Raipur Rangers, former test captain of Indian cricket team and ambassador of the team Anil Kumble said CTl is going to be proved as mile stone for enhancing tennis talents in the country.
Moreover, CTl will be emerging as a platform for sharpening skill of established players as well as new talents.
Kumble also expressed gratitude towards owners of Raipur Rangers Abhishek Mishra and Chinmay Tiwari for selecting him as Ambassador of the team introduced in CTl-2015.
Meanwhile, Kumble also hoped that Chhattisgarh is going to produce several star tennis players for the country.
As per the official information, Raipur Rangers has fixed Indoor Stadium of the city as its home ground where the team is likely to play two matches scheduled to be held on December 1 and December 2.
According to owners Tiwari and Mishra, objective behind linking with CTl and introducing Raipur Rangers is to promote tennis talents in Chhattisgarh and unite youths with tennis. linkage with CTl will be resulting in remarkable expansion of tennis in Chhattisgarh.
Notably, CTl-2015 will see 13 matches played over a 2-week period from November 23, 2015 to December 6, 2015. The teams will be structured into 2 groups, each having 3 teams, where all teams play each other in a home and away format.
