Korean Ambassador to India lee Joon Gyu on Saturday called on Chief Minister Raman Singh at his residence in the city. The Ambassador had been invited by the State Government to be the chief guest at the three-day Dance and Music Festival ‘Sirpur Mahotsava’ which began on Saturday in the ancient archaeological site of Sirpur.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister informed the Ambassador that the Korean Embassy in New Delhi had published a booklet on Sirpur in the Korean language on a request made by the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB). Singh urged the Ambassador to release the booklet at the inaugural ceremony of Sirpur Mahotsava. Present on the occasion was Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Managing Director, Santosh Kumar Misra.
