The Statewide Pulse Polio Campaign received a good response in the district. lok Sabha MP Bansilal lal Mahto and District Collector Reena Babasaheb Kangale led the campaign by administering the first drop of polio to the children attending the campaign held at Dhanraj Kanwar primary health centre here on Sunday.
The polio drops was administered to the children between the ages of 0 to five. The volunteers visited door-to-door for administering polio drops to the children and stalls were installed at every prime areas of the town so that maximum number of children should be administered polio drops. The second phase of pulse polio will be held on February 5.
