District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ranu Sahu has asked the heads of schools to pay special attention to furthering knowledge of English language among students in schools.
She also directed the officials to deduct a day’s salary of the teachers found absent in schools. On her visit to various schools in Salka, Sara, Gadbadi and Anganwadi centers a day earlier, Sahu asked certain questions to the students of schools to test the quality of education being imparted in their schools.
While visiting Anganwadi centres, she directed the staff to provide nutritious and quality meal to the children.
