About 25 persons including children were admitted in district hospital after the complaint of food poisoning. However later they were discharged after administering of proper medication, doctors said on Monday.
The incident happened in Chhote Dongar of Kumharpara at Narayanpur on Sunday late night. The victims had reached Chhote Dongar from Kankerbeda to attend a marriage function. After consuming food in the party suddenly children in the function began to vomit and soon the adults also began to vomit.
They were all then rushed to mission hospital at Kumharpara. However due to inadequate facilities at the hospital some local people at Kumharpara informed police which then transported the victims to district hospital.
Dr MK Suryavanshi of district hospital said that it was case of food poisoning and all of them were discharged after treatment.
