The new working body of Chhattisgarh Swimming Association was formed on Sunday.
Gopal Khandelwal, President of Durg District Swimming Association was made the President of Chhattisgarh Swimming Association while, Santosh Kumar Singh Senior Manager (Personnel) Bhilai Steel Plant was made Senior Vice-president of the Association. He is also a life time member of Chhattisgarh Swimming Association. The working body was selected during the general body meeting of the Association held here in a hotel. The meeting was conducted under supervision of Vice-President Indian Swimming Association Raj Kumar.
Apart from Raj Kumar, Bashir Ahmad Khan of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association, A Ekka , Additional Director, District Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Durg were also present on the occasion. The working body has been chosen for duration of five years starting from 2014 till 2018.
