As part of repair and maintenance of roads in Chhattisgarh, heavy vehicles have been barred from the Keshkal Valley Road (NH-30). An alternative route has been provided to the vehicles.
The Keshkal Valley Road is considered the Gateway to Bastar region.
Kondagaon Collector Deepak Soni on Saturday inspected the repair work, an official communication said.
The work is being done and monitored by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Soni called for placing concrete the sides of the road to regulate water flow.
He asked officials to put up information boards, reflector mirrors and other markings as part of safety guidelines.
