The district administration has speeded up preparation efforts regarding a three-day famous Bhoramdeo Mahotsav scheduled to begin from March 17.
With a view to make it a grand success, Collector P Dayanand has instructed the officials to maintain the cleanliness in the premises of Bhoramdeo temple apart from that of function venue and the water source. Artists from outside the State have been specially called for decorating the kala manch. Over a hundred labours have been put to keep the event ready for a grand function.
Collector has also instructed to maintain law and order during the event and for which he also inspected the chart made for deployment of the personnel. He instructed to put lights on the way to Bhoramdeo temple for the convenience of the people. Collector stressed for not using the plastics at the venue. He asked the officials of Public Health Engineering (PHE) department to make necessary arrangement for the drinking water. He entrusted Bodla Janpad Panchayat CEO with the responsibility of systematically installing the shops at the spot. Kawardha SDO Devnarain Kashyap, Bodla SDM Ashwini Dewangan, Deputy Collector Durgesh Verma, Assistant Collector of Horticulture Department M P Chouhan and other officials were present during the inspection.
