Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Assembly and BJP leader Dharamlal Kaushik in a letter to Public Health and Family Welfare minster TS Singhdeo has urged him to hike the wages of all health department cadres involved in dealing with coronavirus epidemic in the state.
Citing the number of increasing cases of coronavirus in Chhattisgarh, Kaushik stated that medical staff is selflessly serving the patients with utmost dedication.
“So, it the duty of all of us to hike the wages of all the government staff involved in fighting the epidemic, it will help to boost their morale’’ said Kaushik.
He added all other attached government employees should also be covered under the insurance so that their family feels financially protected.
