Sanjeev Kumar Katiyar was on Thursday appointed the Managing Director of the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Co (CSPGCL).
He will replace N.K. Bijora.
After taking charge at the headquarter of the power company, Katiyar said his priority will be to generate electricity at a cheaper rate.
Emphasis will be laid on efficient sustainable power generation in power houses. For further improvement, continuous development training will be imparted.
Before being appointed as Managing Director, Katiyar was posted as Executive Director at the Hasdeo Thermal Power Station in Korba district.
