The 12th edition  of ‘Kathakaar’ a series of storytelling events aimed at bringing people together to share legends, folklore, fables, chronicles, in a bid to revive the indigenous art of storytelling held here successfully.

Co-founded by Shrishti Trivedi and Sourabh Tiwari this series of storytelling events calls out storytellers to revive this fading indigenous art form and create a space to live the stories, to share stories rich with experience, stories with a lesson, or ones brimming with emotions.

“Kathakaar is a space for the hidden storyteller in anyone. It is where one can perfect the art of storytelling, conquer stage fear and be an incredible orator,” Shrishti Trivedi informed.

The Vol. 12 of Kathakaar’s line up witnessed a multitude of storytellers who had diverse stories to share.

Shashank Pandey recited A Spring in My Autumn, a story relishing the joy and pain love brings to us. Aparajita Pandey let loose the emotions that overwhelm us while saying goodbye to someone you love.

In the age of excessive technology and eyes glued to screens, Kathakaar is a fresh and welcome change. It urges people to get out of their home and experience the real things, share stories and form human connections, Trivedi said.
