School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap on Tuesday participated in a two-day workshop for training of high school teachers in the capital.
The Minister said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh high-quality facilities and instructors are available which had dramatically altered the scenario of the school education in the State. He said that his Govt is doing everything possible in this regard.
Moreover, IIT, IIM, N.I.T, AIIMS, Journalism University, law University, Central School, IIIT and other institutions of higher learning are in the State itself, he said.
The workshop is training 45 teachers from the entire state, Kashyap said.
The Royal Society of Chemistry is sponsoring the workshop.
IIT Bhilai and State Education Research and Training Council Chhattisgarh have organized the workshop.
Kashyap called upon the Director of IIT to hold similar workshops in other subjects so that the knowledge and training procedures are updated for instructors.
