Dr Jawahar Karnavat, Deputy General Manager in Bank of Baroda, Corporate Office, Mumbai has bagged first prize in Hindi Elocution Competition organized through audio/video medium by the World Hindi Secretariat, Mauritius jointly established by the Government of Mauritius and Government of India.
Dr Karnavat has submitted his entry under Indian Cadre on “Hindi, Kal, Aaj aur Kal” (i.e. Hindi in yesteryears, present age and in future), a Bank press release informed.
Prizes were announced by the World Hindi Secretariat on the eve of World Hindi Day celebration held at Port louise, the capital town of Mauritius.
