Adding another point to the successful management of Bilaspur-based Kanan Pendari Zoo, a Himalayan Goral gave birth to a healthy female calf early on Friday morning here.
As per information received from the zoo authority, the Goral was brought here in April this year from National Zoological Park, New Delhi against the exchange of two Antelopes. By providing suitable housing environment and nutritive foods, the staff of zoo managed to ensure necessary care to the Goral, which usually lives in place with higher altitude.
