Jindal Steel and Power limited (JSPl), one of India’s leading steel makers in the private sector, is gearing up for the vision 20-20 to achieve the production goal of 20 Million Tonnes (MT) of steel and 20,000 MW power, claimed Atul Mishra, executive director of the company’s Raigarh plant.

The JSPl has steel plant, upcoming power plant and coal mine in Raigarh district and the company has taken a major leap and created history in the field of steel production by making the dream of its founder, OP Jindal, true by producing 3 MT of steel in just ended fiscal year.

“Achieving his (OP Jindal) dream just before his death anniversary is a real tribute to him. Member of Parliament and JSPl chairman Naveen Jindal has also termed the ‘record production’ as an achievement and congratulated Mishra and his entire team.

“JSPl is now working on a vision 20-20; under this, we have set a goal for the year 2020 to achieve 20 MTsteel and 20,000 MW power production from this unit,” Mishra stated while addressing media persons in Raigarh, about 320 km from Raipur.
