The ‘Constitution Day’ was observed by Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (KTUJM), Raipur in the university auditorium Samved on Thursday.
Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof (Dr) MS Parmar presiding over the programme called upon the mass media students to know about the fundamental rights, duties, functions of Parliament, Supreme Court and the Directive Principles.
He stressed on Article 19 (1) (a) on freedom of speech and expression and reasonable restrictions in Article 19 (2). On the occasion, Dr Shahid Ali, Pankajnauan Pandey, Dr Rajendra Mohanty, Nripendra Sharma, Dr Abhishek Dubey, Ashutosh Mandavi besides all students and staff members of the university were present.Registrar of the University Dr Sandeep Vansutre proposed the vote of thanks.
