Congress leader and Chhattisgarh’s former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi on Saturday slammed the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the rising prices of different essential commodities in the country.
“Modi Government has brought good days for inflation. For people the worst days have come,’’ Jogi said in a statement. He added, “the situation is such that Modi government cannot prevent the worse which are likely to come in the coming days,’’.
“It was the businessman and industrialists who are benefiting from the Modi Government. Great Indian philosopher Chanakya had said the people would be poorer where the ruler sides with the businessman or implement policies favouring them,’’ Jogi alleged.
He further said that the realities of the power acquired by making false promises to the people are now being revealed. Accusing Modi of not giving time to control inflation, Jogi said Modi is busy in foreign tour and he does not have time for the people.
